Life at PN CCO

Life at Pakistan Navy Cadet College Ormara is a unique experience that combines academic excellence with military discipline. Our cadets are exposed to a rigorous training program that prepares them for a career in the Pakistan Navy.

Houses & House Masters

The house system at PN Cadet College Ormara forms the backbone of our cadet development program, fostering leadership, teamwork, and healthy competition. Each house represents our national heroes and values, providing cadets with a sense of belonging and identity throughout their journey.

Houses compete in academics, sports, discipline, and co-curricular activities throughout the academic year, culminating in the prestigious House Championship Trophy awarded annually.

Tippu House

"Fortune favors the brave"

Tippu House is named after Tippu Sultan, also known as the 'Tiger of Mysore' who was a ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore and a scholar, soldier, and poet. Established on 5th January 2013, cadets of this house idealize Tippu Sultan's patriotism, innovation, bravery and integrity.

The symbolic colour of this house is Red, representing courage, valor, strength, and power. Red is the color of fire and blood, associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination, passion, and love.

Jinnah House

"Unity, Faith, Discipline"

Jinnah House is named after the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Established on 5th January 2013, cadets of this house follow Quaid's principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline, and strive to embody his leadership qualities, vision, and unwavering commitment to principles.

The symbolic colour of this house is Yellow, representing optimism, enlightenment, happiness, and energy. Yellow is the color of sunshine, symbolizing joy, intellect, and the power of clear thinking. It also represents the bright vision of Quaid-e-Azam for Pakistan.

Syed House

"Seek knowledge from cradle to grave"

Syed House is named after Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, a visionary Muslim reformer, philosopher and educationist who founded the Aligarh Muslim University. Established on 5th January 2013, cadets of this house are inspired by Sir Syed's emphasis on modern education and scientific thinking.

The symbolic colour of this house is Light Blue, representing tranquility, understanding, and clarity of thought. Light blue is the color of the clear sky, symbolizing peace, openness, and the expansive vision that Sir Syed advocated for education and enlightenment.

Iqbal House

"Khudi ko kar buland itna ke har taqdeer se pehle, Khuda bande se khud pooche bata teri raza kya hai"

Iqbal House is named after Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the national poet and philosopher of Pakistan whose poetry and philosophy inspired the Pakistan Movement. Established on 5th January 2013, cadets of this house are encouraged to develop visionary thinking, self-belief, and spiritual awakening.

The symbolic colour of this house is Green, representing wisdom, dignity, independence, creativity, mystery, and magic. Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red.

Liaquat House

"Loyalty, Integrity, Service"

Liaquat House is named after Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan, the first Prime Minister of Pakistan and right hand of Quaid-e-Azam. Established on 5th January 2013, cadets of this house are inspired by Liaquat Ali Khan's dedication to public service, loyalty to the nation, and his ultimate sacrifice for Pakistan.

The symbolic colour of this house is Dark Blue, representing depth, stability, wisdom, and faith. Dark blue is the color of the deep sea, symbolizing trust, loyalty, confidence, and intelligence - qualities that Liaquat Ali Khan demonstrated throughout his political career as Pakistan's first Prime Minister.

Johar House

"Unity in Diversity"

Johar House is named after Maulana Muhammad Ali Johar, a prominent Muslim leader, scholar, poet, and journalist who played a vital role in the Khilafat Movement and Indian Independence Movement. Established on 5th January 2013, cadets of this house are inspired by Johar's passion for freedom, unity, and his journalistic integrity.

The symbolic colour of this house is Orange, representing enthusiasm, determination, success, and endurance. Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow, symbolizing creativity, encouragement, and strength - qualities that Muhammad Ali Johar demonstrated throughout his career as a journalist and freedom fighter.

Annual Parents Day

A prestigious annual event where parents witness the achievements and performances of their cadets

Parents' Day 2024

The 8th Parents' Day was held on 7 Dec 2024 at Pakistan Navy Cadet College Ormara (PN CCO), wherein Rear Admiral Faisal Amin HI (M) (Commander Coast) graced the occasion as Chief Guest. A large number of parents, civil and military bureaucracy, attended the event.

Cadets of PN CCO presented the Guard of Honour to the Chief Guest. Commodore Fazal ur Rehman (PCCO) delivered the welcome address and thanked the guests for coming from all parts of the country to attend the event. Numerous activities including Mass PT, Karate, Gymnastics, Special Drill, and fireworks were performed by the cadets.

In his speech, the Chief Guest appreciated the officers, faculty, and staff for putting all-out efforts in bringing a good name for the college. The Chief Guest gave away prizes to position holders, Best House Master, Best Teachers (Uniformed and Civilian) and Champion House. Later, the Chief Guest and parents witnessed the Science and Arts Exhibition and appreciated the cadets for their wonderful projects.

Parents' Day 2023

The 7th Parents Day was held on 9 Dec 2023 at PN Cadet College Ormara (PN CCO), wherein Malik Abdul Wali Khan (Governor Balochistan) graced the occasion as Chief Guest. A large number of parents, civil and military bureaucracy, attended the event.

Cadets of PN CCO presented the Guard of Honour to the Chief Guest. Captain Fazal ur Rehman (PCCO) delivered the welcome address and thanked the guests for coming from all parts of the country to attend the event. Numerous activities (Mass PT, Karate, Gymnastics, Special Drill, and fireworks) were performed by the cadets.

In his speech, the Chief Guest appreciated the officers, faculty, and staff for putting all-out efforts in bringing a good name for the college. Later, the Chief Guest and parents witnessed the Science and Arts Exhibition and appreciated the cadets for their wonderful projects.
