Conduct of Sailing Camp at PN Cadet College Ormara

With a focus on developing discipline, teamwork, and sailing skills among cadets, two-week sailing camp was conducted at PN CCO Sailing School from 22 Jan to 4 Feb 25. Cadets of various houses/ classes enthusiastically participated in the camp. The camp included theoretical sessions on basics of sailing, navigation, weather conditions, and safety procedures, followed by hands-on training in rigging, maneuvering, and sailing small boats. Under the supervision of experienced instructors, cadets practiced sailing in various wind conditions, enhancing their confidence and learning experience. The camp concluded with a graceful Closing Ceremony on 4 Feb 25. Commodore Fazal ur Rehman, Principal PN CCO, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The Chief Guest awarded certificates to the cadet and lauded their active participation. The camp provided valuable learning experience to the young enthusiasts, fostering leadership, resilience, love for sailing and maritime awareness.
